One trust, many schools

A multi academy trust has to do two things at once. It needs to show families, staff and partners what the trust stands for, and it needs each school to keep the character that local families value. Getting that balance right in films, prints and websites is hard when every school does its own thing, and expensive when every school uses a different supplier.

We work only in education, and we make film, photography, print, social media and websites from one in-house studio. That makes it easier for a trust to keep one brand across its schools, while each school still tells its own story.

Films for Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust

For Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust we filmed a cross-trust maths challenge, bringing students from its schools together for one event. We have also made films for two Fairfax schools: a series of social media videos for Bournville School, including a day in the life of each phase, Sports Day and the Year 11 leavers’ assembly, and a day in the life film for Smith’s Wood Academy. Students from both schools share a prom, which we filmed as well.

You can watch these films above. Together they show how one trust can have a consistent standard of film across its schools, with each school still looking like itself.

Trust-wide films and events

Events that bring your schools together, such as competitions, celebrations, staff conferences and trust days, are some of the best stories a trust can tell. We film them in a way that works for the trust’s own channels and for each school, so one day of filming gives everyone something to share.

Staff recruitment across the trust

Recruiting teachers and support staff is one of the biggest challenges trusts face. A short film or a set of photos that shows what it is really like to work in your schools, made with your staff, can make your adverts stand out and help people picture themselves joining you.

Websites for trusts

A trust website explains the trust to families, staff and partners, and links clearly to each school. School websites need to share one structure and brand, while giving each school room for its own news and personality. We design trust and school websites together, built with the information academies and trusts must publish in mind, and easy for staff in every school to update.

Prospectuses and brochures

A consistent prospectus design across your schools saves time each year and makes the trust easier to recognise. Each school still has its own photographs, its own words and its own story inside. We also design trust brochures for partners, staff recruitment and events.

Starting with your trust

Some trusts start with one school and grow from there; others plan across all their schools at once. Either way, we start with a conversation about what you need, then send a clear, fixed quote before we start.

How it works

Five simple steps, from first call to finished work.

  1. Step 1: Get in touch

Email us or use the contact form. Tell us what you need and roughly when.

  2. Step 2: Get a quote

We talk it through, then send a clear, fixed quote before we start. No surprises later.

  3. Step 3: Confirm

You confirm the plan and the dates, and we agree consent and safeguarding arrangements with you.

  4. Step 4: We make it

We plan, shoot, design or build it, working around your timetable, and share drafts for your comments.

  5. Step 5: Delivered

You get the finished files, ready to use, with everything you need to post, print or publish.

Safeguarding and consent

One consent process, applied in every school.

Across several schools, consent and safeguarding need to work the same way everywhere. We agree one approach with your trust and apply it in each school: consent lists checked before every shoot, pupils without consent kept out of shot, and a member of staff with us on the day.

Our team are all DBS-checked, and every film, photo and post is approved by you before it is published.

Why Moments

Why schools choose us

  • We only work in education

Schools, multi academy trusts, colleges and education providers are all we do, so you never have to explain admissions, Ofsted or the school year to us.

  • Safeguarding comes first

Every one of us is DBS-checked, and we check your consent list before anyone is filmed or photographed.

  • One studio for everything

Film, photography, print, social and websites from the same in-house team, so your prospectus, website and open evening film look like they belong together.

  • A clear, fixed quote

You know the cost before we start, and it does not change because a shoot runs long. We reply to every enquiry within one working day.

FAQs

Questions schools ask us

What are the statutory website requirements for academies and multi academy trusts?
Academies and trusts must publish set information online, including admissions arrangements, inspection reports, curriculum information, policies, SEND information, governance details and financial information. The Department for Education publishes and updates the lists. Our guide to what a school website must include explains what to check.
How do you rebrand a school?
When a school joins a trust, a rebrand works best when it is planned with the school community rather than done to it. Agree what stays, such as the school’s name and colours, and what changes to show it is part of the trust. Then roll it out in a sensible order: website, signage, prospectus, uniform and social media.
What is school branding?
A school’s brand is how people recognise and feel about it: its name, logo, colours and photography, and also the way it talks and the experience families have. Good branding makes everything a school produces, from letters home to a prospectus, feel like it comes from the same place.
How do you market a school?
Be clear about what makes each school different, then show it honestly and consistently on its website, in its prospectus, on social media and at open events. For a trust, a shared approach saves time and money, while each school keeps its own voice.
